Taiwan government has long time issues to claim its independence that faced too many difficult in international conflicts by punishing their own citizens as the first but not tried to understand its role.
As an " ambiguous status“ in international relationship with other countries, Taiwan government tried too hard to put itself as the first that punishing its own citizens made its agreements invalid.
Many citizens in Taiwan still can't believe its own ID as no official consulates in this island that many countries would have right to deny Taiwan as a " true country". By power shifting , many Taiwan citizens are painful as ideology changing that every election means blooding wash. A long time battle means the international ideology changes too.
Now, more and more countries don't want to admit Taiwan as a true country since using illegally way to punish its own citizen even try to control other countries made more troubles in the world.
Thats see how difference between China and Taiwan to treat the power don't like:
In China , if you wrote things against government, China curt wrote an order to punish.
In Taiwan, if you don't like the government, they sent people to harass and follow you even developing weapon till you die.
This is how happened on me and my cousin.
As international relationship changing, countries don't admit Taiwan becomes clear because admitting Taiwan's role in international society is the way to obey its law but not becomes a cult.
Therefore , more and more international issues Taiwan government lost its own power to deal with it independently.

Napal riot in 2025 , Taiwan need Inia government's help to solve its international problem.
